A Call

Waves have wet my feet too long.
My body aches to feel the ocean.
Sitting on the rocks, a whole life has passed.
It is time to live a moment.

Hard edges of containment,
Melt into the diffusion of freedom.
Beyond space the heart seeks you,
Desire for tawhid lends it strong wings.

Sohbet makes the impossible easy.
Alone one is lost in the desert of emptiness.
Your wine oh Saki! Makes me sane again,
Come, pour a brimful and slake the loneliness.

  1. Oh Miss, irony of lives... The more the cup is filled, the more empty it feels... the more it wants to be filled up... Quite a cycle...
The ocean is another world, a parallel world... Life changing... Where all mindful games end, one even breathes with his name... Life gets numbered in how much one earns the ocean's presence.
I tell ya, let it be empty, worldly fulfillments have but nothing to fulfill the sacred cup...
